Chinese team broke the Asian Games record in the women’s skeet team event at the Asian Games 2026 to claim the gold medal, while Kazakhstan earned silver and the Indian team secured the bronze medal.
All three days of the women’s skeet team events, the top three teams remained the same. Starting the battle with the third-best score (67), Kazakhstan (70) took a lead over China (68) after the first round, but China secured the top place from the second round.
Indian shooters were just ahead in the third-place battle till the third round, after which they raised the gap to secure the bronze medal with a total score of 331, while the fourth-place Republic of Korea finished with 324. While the silver medalist Kazakhstan scored 336, the gold medalist China set a new games record with the score of 357, breaking the previous record of 350 by Kazakhstan (2023).
However, India failed to secure any medals in the individual event, as Raiza Dhillon finished fourth with a score of 23. Another Indian Parinaaz Dhaliwal (8) finished in eighth place. Chinese shooter Jiang Yiting won the gold medal with an equalled world record score of 35. Meanwhile, Isarapa Imprasertsuk (31) from Thailand and Assem Orynbay (28) from Kazakhstan won the silver and bronze, respectively.
