Nepal are ready to impress world cricket once again in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, as India and Sri Lanka are ready to host the tournament from 7 February to 8 March 2026
Nepal have already experienced this tournament twice, in the 2014 and 2024 editions. They were narrowly eliminated from the first group stage in the 2014 edition. Although they failed to win a single match last edition, they highly impressed in that tournament, as they suffered only close defeats, including a one-run defeat against South Africa.
For the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 tournament, Nepal qualified after winning the Asia–EAP Regional Final Qualifier challenge.
Nepal will start the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 journey from Group C, as they will play all their group stage games in India. If they stun world cricket by reaching the Super 8 stage of the tournament, they can play in India by replacing West Indies for Group 1 or Sri Lanka by replacing England for Group 2.
