The latest PLE of the WWE happened earlier today morning India time and it was one of the most newsworthy and best PPVs of the year by WWE. The MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas was sold out for the event and just a block away UFC 276 was happening at T Mobile Arena at Las Vegas as well. The card was stacked and there were some results on this show that surprised a lot of people and in a good way. The road to SummerSlam is upon us and we can expect top tier WWE booking.
There were a total of 6 Matches on this show so we will talk about the first 3 Matches in Part 1 and the rest of the 3 in Part 2 of the results. Every match had something to talk about and generally that doesn’t happen so let’s get to it and have fun.
Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match
This was the match that opened the show abs while it was not the greatest match the story in this match and the effort all these 7 women put in this match had the whole crowd and fans at home invested throughout. Becky Lynch wanted redemption, Liv Morgan wanted a bit moment in her career, Alexa Bliss wanted to do it again z Shotzi and Raquel wanted to shine so this was a 21 minutes match and every one of these 7 was amazing and I was rooting for Liv Morgan but I had little hope that she would win but the crowd were behind her and Liv Morgan after years of toiling hard on WWE got her big moment in the bright lights of Las Vegas and all of us thought that this was the last big moment for her in this night then keep an eye for Part 2. I enjoyed this match a lot and was really happy with the winner, so a perfect start to the PPV.
Bobby Lashley vs Theory- United States Championship
This was the second match of the show and as usual Theory was the most hated man on this show and that would only increase as the night went along. This match was a David vs Goliath battle and for the rare few times people were rooting for the Goliath to crush David. Bobby Lashley was so over with the crowd and he has been for a long time and Theory was the perfect heel and he is so good for just 24 years old. Bobby Lashley Gained early control but Theory then took control of the match but Bobby Lashley kept kicking out of everything and after a great 18 minutes match where Theory showed that he is one of the best young talents, Bobby Lashley tapped out Theory and won the United States Championship and the crowd went berserk for him.
Bianca Belair vs Carmella – Raw Women’s Championship
This was the match that had the least to talk about of all the 6 that were there in the show and everyone knew that Bianca Belair was going to win this match and that’s exactly what happened. Carmella has improved a lot in the ring and she showed it tonight in a short 10 minutes match and Bianca Belair showed why she is the EST OF WWE and beat Carmella easily but they have another Raw Women’s title match on Raw and I feel this is to setup a huge return after Bianca Belair beats Carmella again and Bayley will come out to challenge Bianca Belair for SummerSlam. There is no other reason that this match should happen again on Raw other than to have Bayley return after the match and it's been a long time.
