The second last Saturday's Night Main Event of the year 2025 was held in Salt Lake City UT. This card had 4 title matches and everyone was good to great. The top WWE superstars were competing and there were fewer commercial breaks during the show. The final Saturdays Night Main Event will be held on 13th December in Washington DC.

Cody Rhodes beat Drew Mcintyre for WWE Championship
This was the first match of the show for the WWE Championship. Cody Rhodes was opening a show after a long time. This match was 19 minutes of great wrestling. This match started with submissions and then Cody Rhodes punched Drew Mcintyre in the corner. Cody Rhodes hits a delayed ground buster. Drew Mcintyre tries to get Cody Rhodes counted out and then tries to send him to the referee. Drew Mcintyre hits a number of chops to Cody Rhodes. Drew Mcintyre was trying to win the title anyway and he wanted a count out. Drew Mcintyre was hitting various moves like Belly to Belly Suplex, Irish Whip for a 2 count. Cody Rhodes hits a top rope Superplex. Cody Rhodes hits the Bionic Elbow but was immediately hit by the Spine buster by Drew Mcintyre for a near fall. Drew Mcintyre brought the title to the ring but Cody Rhodes gave it to the referee. Cody Rhodes hit the Cody Cutter for a near fall. Drew Mcintyre sends Cody Rhodes to the referee. Cody Rhodes hits a DDT to Drew Mcintyre on the belt and then sends it to the floor. Cody Rhodes won the match using his smarts.
Jade Cargill beat Tiffany Stratton for WWE Women’s Championship
Tiffany Stratton was injured on the knee before her title match. This was a very short match and it needed to be that. Jade lifted Tiffany Stratton and sent her to the ring which hurt the champion. Jade Cargill hits a Chokeslam followed by a pump handle ground buster and she gets a near fall. Tiffany Stratton tried to hit the Moons but her legs were no good. Jade sent Tiffany to the mat but the champion hit a Swanton Bomb for a near fall. Tiffany Stratton was fighting valiantly. However, Jade hit a Sit Out Powerbomb for a near fall. The end was near and then she hit another 2 Powerbombs followed by a Jaded and she won the WWE Women’s Championship. This was absolutely the right outcome and Jade Cargill looked like an unstoppable monster.
Dominik Mysterio beat Penta and Rusev for Intercontinental Championship
This match started as a 2 on 1 match as both Rusev and Penta took turns in punching and kicking Dominik. Rusev hits a Dropkick to Penta for a near fall. Rusev hit a backdrop on the champion. Rusev followed that by hitting 2 Suplexes and he threw the shirt of Dominik Mysterio in the crowd. Dominik Mysterio hit a beautiful Suicide dive on Penta. Rusev dragged Penta outside the ring and sent him to the ring steps. Dominik Mysterio tried to hit the 619 on Rusev but he caught Dom. This was a 13 minute match and it was great. Rusev applied the Accolade but Penta broke it up. Dominik Mysterio brought a chair to the match but it was No DQ as it was a triple threat match. Penta hit a Mexican destroyer to Dominik Mysterio on the back of Rusev. In the closing stages of the match, Rusev applied the submission on Penta but Dominik Mysterio rang the ring bell but Rusev saw that. Penta hits Rusev with a hammer. Dominik Mysterio hit a Frog splash to Penta for the win.
After this match a huge announcement is made that there will be a tournament involving 16 men from Raw, SmackDown, NXT and even men from outside the WWE. The winner of that tournament will be the man to face John Cena in his retirement match on 13th December.
