Gianluigi Donnarumma returns to Manchester City after winning the Yashin trophy at the 2025 Ballon d'Or awards. With Manchester City facing Burnley at home, he is our top goalkeeper for FPL best team of the week.

Defenders

Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth)

Marcos Senesi and Bournemouth will be facing Leeds United away in GW6. Bournemouth are heavy favourites to win the game, and Senesi has been one of their best defenders so far. Easy inclusion in our FPL team of the week list.

James Tarkowski (Everton)

Mohammed Kudus had a stunning start under Thomas Frank at Spurs, and we expect him to continue his stunning form against Wolves at home. This is the kind of game where players like Kudus can earn you huge points, and this makes him a top pick in our FPL team of the week list.

Jack Grealish (Everton)

Jack Grealish has been simply reborn at Everton and he is back to being that player who is a nightmare for defenders. Everton will be facing a West Ham side in disastrous form, and a part of us expects Grealish to even score his first Premier League goal this weekend. Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth)
