Best FPL tips this weekend - Gameweek 20 (GW20)
Leeds players might end up being a risk worth taking against Manchester United
Although Leeds vs Manchester United might look like an easy fixture on paper for Ruben Amorim's side, the truth is far from that. Leeds have exceeded expectations this season so far, and have managed to draw twice against Liverpool and even earn all 3 points against Chelsea. Manchester United, on the other hand, have been terrible from a performance perspective despite being 6th in the table. All signs point towards Leeds being dominant against United this week and thus it might be an attractive option to have a Leeds player in your FPL fpl team like Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Brighton and Aston Villa players are an attractive pick for Gameweek 20
Both Brighton and Aston Villa are 2 sides that boast of some excellent attacking players who could provide big returns in Fantasy Premier League. Brighton will be facing Burnley at home, while Villa face Nottingham Forest at home. Both these games are expected to be easy victories for them, and thus it's an excellent idea to include players from those teams in your FPL team for Gameweek 20. Whether it's through transfers, or a bonus chip, try to have at least 3-4 players combined from both clubs this week in your FPL team.
Best FPL captain pick for this week might not necessarily be Erling Haaland
Erling Haaland has failed to score in his last 2 Premier League games, and Manchester City's next fixture is against Chelsea as well. Although Chelsea have been horrible recently, the sacking of Enzo Maresca means Chelsea will be probably playing the game with a member of the coaching staff temporarily in-charge for the match. This means the game could be an unexpected one. Thus, Haaland can't be straightforwardly claimed the best FPL captain for the week. Some excellent alternatives if you wish to go that route are the likes of Bukayo Saka, Morgan Rogers, and Danny Welbeck.
It might be ideal time to transfer out or bench Liverpool players for the short-term
Arne Slot has a realistic chance of getting sacked when Liverpool were on a run of disappointing results earlier in the season. However, he has since been able to stabilize things and take the team to 4th in the league. However, if you watch their games, Liverpool's performances are still quite underwhelming, and they've been extremely lucky on multiple occasions. Thus, considering the current form of the players, it's best that you bench or even sell your Liverpool players for the time being.
This might be a good Gameweek for those who love to use their bench boost early
A lot of the fixtures in the Premier League this week are quite competitive, which means that many games in Gameweek 20 could end up being close contest that won't have many goals in it. Thus, there's a huge chance that many FPL players might end up with very few points after the Gameweek. To avoid such a scenario, one realistic solution is to use your second bench boost which is now available till the remainder of the season. However, be sure on such a decision as it's your final bench boost chip for this season.
These were our best FPL tips this week. Make sure to look at them before making your final team and transfer decisions during the Gameweek 20 transfer deadline. That's it from our side for now. See you soon!
