Brazil Squad for 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

After crashing out in the quarterfinals of the 2022 World Cup, Brazil began their journey for the next edition in 2026 in USA, Mexico and Canada with the first set of CONMEBOL qualifying games to be played in September international break. The Selecao will face Bolivia at home in the opening match before traveling to Peru four days later. Interim head coach Fernando Diniz will take charge of the team after Tite stepped down from his role last year.

Brazil topped their qualifying group of the last World Cup without losing a game and scoring 40 goals. The South American giants dropped points just three times in 17 available matches with only five conceded. Something similar is expected out of this young but extremely talented squad. They will be at their prime by the team the 2026 FIFA World Cup rolls in if five-time record champions can maintain their record of qualifying to each finals so far in history.
