We are back with Gameweek 21 edition of Premier League Team of the Week. GW21 was a unique one in the Premier, as all the big clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Chelsea all failed to earn all 3 points. It was one of those rare weeks in the EPL where the players from mid-table clubs ended up stealing the spotlight from stars such as Erling Haaland, Bukayo Saka, and Bruno Fernandes. Premier League/EPL Team of the Week - Gameweek 21 (GW21)
Goalkeeper
Caoimhin Kelleher (Brentford)
Former Liverpool Goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher was excellent for Brentford against Sunderland. He helped his team earn all 3 points with 3 vital saves and also a clean sheet as well. Deservingly our Premier League Goalkeeper of the week for Gameweek 21.
Defenders
Lucas Digne (Aston Villa)
Lucas Digne is one of the most underrated players of Unai Emery's Aston Villa side. He was impressive in what was a tough away fixture against Oliver Glasner's Crystal Palace side, and helped Villa keep a clean sheet.
Nathan Collins (Brentford)
Brentford and Ireland captain Nathan Collins has had a fantastic season so far for Brentford, and he has played a huge role in their success this campaign. He was vital in the victory over Sunderland, assisting a goal and also helping his team in defense.
Jaydee Canvot (Crystal Palace)
With Marc Guéhi heavily rumoured to leave Crystal Palace soon, it is time for some youngster to step up at the club. That individual could be none other than Jaydee Canvot, who is just 19 years old and played the entire 90 minutes against Aston Villa. The future looks bright for him.
Milos Kerkez (Liverpool)
After a disappointing start to life at Liverpool, Milos Kerkez is now slowly adapting to his new club and has started to improve with each passing game. He looked lively in Liverpool's 0-0 draw vs Arsenal at the Emirates.
Midfielders
Bruno Guimarães (Newcastle)
Bruno Guimarães has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League so far this season. The Brazilian scored one and assisted another in what was a thrilling 4-3 win over Leeds United at St James' Park.
Nicolás Domínguez (Nottingham Forest)
Nottingham Forest midfielder Nicolás Domínguez managed to dominate things from midfield in what was a huge 1-2 over West Ham in the Premier League. The Argentine also scored his first Premier League goal of the season as well against West Ham.
Brenden Aaronson (Leeds United)
Brenden Aaronson has one of his best ever performances for Leeds against Eddie Howe's Newcastle at St James' Park. It ended in heartbreak at the end of the game for him, but his brace against Newcastle won't be forgotten anytime soon.
Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest)
Morgan Gibbs-White is one of the few star players that Nottingham Forest have, and such players are known for thriving under high-pressure situations. That was the case for Gibbs-White against West Ham, as he calmly scored the winning penalty towards the end.
Forwards
Thiago (Brentford)
No words would do justice to how Thiago has exceeded all expectations and taken the Premier League by storm this season. His brace against Sunderland takes him to a remarkable 16 Premier League goals this season.
Benjamin Šeško (Manchester United)
Benjamin Šeško has finally arrived at Manchester United, with the Slovenian scoring an important brace to help Manchester United earn a point against Burnley. This might be the beginning of a great run for him.
