Extreme Rules is the only night on the WWE pay-per-view calendar where the rules go out of the window. The larger part of matches are challenged with stipulations, with chairs being flung and tables breaking.
The occasion began in ECW as The One Night Stand pay-per-view in 2005. It was at that point turned into a WWE event and after that into Extreme Rules.
There have been numerous vital minutes, but let's take a look at five of the foremost critical title changes from Extreme Rules.
5. John Cena wins the WWE Title at Extreme Rules 2011
At Extreme Rules, John Cena was pitted against then-WWE Champion The Miz and John Morrison in a Triple Threat Steel Cage match. Following some shenanigans with R-Truth getting involved, John Cena managed to pick up the win. He finished The Miz using his famous Attitude Adjustment from the top rope to score a pinfall win.
4. Layla win the Divas Championship at Extreme Rules 2012
At Extreme Rules in 2011, Layla crushed Michelle McCool in a no count-out, no disqualification 'loser clears out WWE' match. On the night, Layla won the match, but tragically she endured serious harm. She tore both her front cruciate and average collateral tendons and had to experience surgery.
A year afterward, Nikki Bella was due to protect her Divas Championship against Beth Phoenix. Phoenix was not cleared to compete and previous Diva Search winner Layla returned after a year's absence. Gallantly, Layla vanquished Nikki in fair two minutes and forty-five seconds to capture the championship for the first time.

3. CM Punk cashes-in Money in the Bank at Extreme Rules 2009
Jeff Hardy and Edge competed in an overwhelming Ladder Match in Extreme Rules 2009 for the World Heavyweight Championship. After a twenty-minute war, Hardy climbed the ladder to recover the gold in his forte match.
Post-match, WWE host Jim Ross got within the ring to meet the new champion. Abruptly, CM Punk hurried to the ring with his Money in the Bank contract. It took the 'Second City Saint' two attempts to convey his GTS finisher and capture the World Heavyweight Championship for the second time in his career. The moment left the WWE Universe dazed.
2. Brock Lesnar cashes-in Money in the Bank at Extreme Rules 2019
In the main event of Extreme Rules 2019, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch defended their respective Universal and RAW Women's Championship against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans.
The champions managed to retain their titles after a hard-fought contest. However, Brock Lesnar entered the ring and cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Seth Rollins.
Two German suplexes and an F5 later, Brock Lesnar, stood tall as the brand-new Universal Champion. The Beast Incarnate was the top superstar again, much to the dismay of the WWE Universe.
1. Christian wins the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules 2011
It was an enthusiastic time for Christian in 2011. Taking after WrestleMania, his best friend Edge was constrained to retire due to damage. The Rated-R Superstar surrendered his World Heavyweight Championship.
Captain Charisma picked up the baton, and a Ladder Match was set for the now vacant World Heavyweight Title. Christian fought Alberto Del Rio for twenty-one minutes. Even after impedances from Ricardo Rodriguez and Brodus Clay, Christian climbed the steps and got to be a world champion for the first time. It was a minute to savor. The baton had solidly been put in Christian's hands, and it was, at last, his time.
