With a new meet record, the United States star Masai Russell won the women’s 100m hurdles in the 2026 Diamond League Final in Brussels. It was another Diamond+ event in the Final.
The world record holder completed the hurdles race in 12.20 seconds to set a new meet record, beating Puerto Rican athlete Jasmine Camacho-Quinn’s 12.27-second record, which she set in 2022.
Devynne Charlton from the Bahamas (12.33) and Megan Simmonds from Jamaica (12.43) not only finished in second and third place, respectively, but they also secured the national record and season best performances, respectively.

Who is Masai Russell?
American athlete Masai Russell won her first Diamond League title. In the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, she won her first Olympic gold medal.
In the 2026 Diamond League season, she won six times before the Final battle, while also setting a world record last month in Zurich by finishing the race in just 12.09 seconds.
