EPL/Premier League Predictions for Gameweek 9
Leeds United vs West Ham
West Ham are yet to show positive results under new manager Nuno EspĂrito Santo, but with Leeds United themselves being in such terrible form, we feel Nuno's West Ham will finally get their much-needed first victory.
Prediction - Leeds United 0-2 West Ham
Chelsea vs Sunderland
Sunderland have been the surprise package of the Premier League so far, hence it wouldn't be ideal to write them off against Chelsea. However, Chelsea have been in brilliant form as well. This will be tight we feel.
Prediction - Chelsea 3-2 Sunderland
Newcastle United vs Fulham
Newcastle United will be coming from a fantastic win over Jose Mourinho's Benfica side in the Champions League, and we don't think Fulham has a chance here.
Prediction - Newcastle United 2-0 Fulham
Manchester United vs Brighton
Ruben Amorim's Manchester United side shocked everyone with a dominant display over Arne Slot's Liverpool side. However, their biggest problem in recent years has always been dropping points to mid-table clubs randomly. Brighton might spoil their plans once again.
Prediction - Manchester United 1-2 Brighton
Brentford vs Liverpool
Liverpool made a solid comeback after a crisis phase in the Champions League, smashing Frankfurt 1-5. However, we expect Brentford to shock everyone and give them a reality check.
Prediction - Brentford 2-2 Liverpool
Wolves vs Burnley
Wolves vs Burnley will be the battle of two clubs who could be staring at relegation once the season finishes, and its games like these that'll make the difference in the end. We predict a Burnley win here.
Prediction - Wolves 0-1 Burnley
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace
This will be one of the most exciting games of the Premier League weekend, and it's not impossible for Crystal Palace to cause an upset here. However, Arsenal are in such devastating form at the moment that we don't see a way to victory for Oliver Glasner's side.
Prediction - Arsenal 2-0 Crystal Palace
Aston Villa vs Manchester City
Villa Park has always been a tricky place for Pep Guardiola and Manchester City in the past few years. Although Erling Haaland is in god mode right now for the Citizens, we think Unai Emery's men are about to give a shock to Pep and his men.
Prediction - Aston Villa 2-1 Manchester City
Bournemouth vs Nottingham Forest
Bournemouth will be facing a Forest side who have already appointed their 3rd Premier League manager of the season in Sean Dyche. Although this could mean a return to familiar tactics and style of play similar to Nuno for Forest Players, Bournemouth are too good right now to suffer a new manager bounce loss.
Prediction - Bournemouth 1-0 Nottingham Forest
Everton vs Tottenham
After what was a bright start to the season, Tottenham have now slowed down a bit under Thomas Frank and might need to start winning a few games consecutively now. However, Everton have been really promising this season and we think Spurs are gonna implode as usual here.
Prediction - Everton 2-1 Tottenham
That's it for our Premier League predictions for this week. We will be back for EPL predictions GW10 .
