The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 runners-up New Zealand are eyeing their first ICC World Cup title as they are ready for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 tournament, which will be played between 7 February and 8 March 2026 in India and Sri Lanka.
Last edition in 2024, New Zealand were eliminated from the group stage, but earned qualification for the 2026 edition thanks to having a better T20I ranking.
In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, New Zealand will begin from Group D, where they will face South Africa, Afghanistan, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. If they reach the next round, the Super Eight stage, they will play all three matches in the stage in Sri Lanka from Group 2.
