The WWE SmackDown episode from Chicago which had more than 17,000 loud fans in attendance will be one of the biggest in recent memory. There was huge anticipation that had been built throughout the week. John Cena made his last WWE appearance in Chicago and it was electrifying. CM Punk was also in the building.

John Cena kicked off the show
John Cena was a major part of this episode of WWE SmackDown. He started the show and the fans in Chicago gave John Cena the loudest ovation. This was a show of respect to the greatest of all time. He was emotional because he made his WWE debut in the same arena in 2002. He said that he had main evented shows against Triple H, CM Punk in this arena. He got a Thank You Cena chants which was special. John Cena made his last WWE SmackDown appearance and now he has 7 dates left out of which 4 will be PPVs.
Sami Zayn and John Cena have a Banger for the United States Championship
Sami Zayn came out and he said that 10 years ago John Cena gave him an opportunity in the US title Open challenge and tonight he wants to have the last SmackDown match of John Cena for the US title. John Cena accepted and what followed was a Banger. John Cena has found his best wrestling form and he and Sami Zayn tore the house down. In this match as well John Cena gave tributes to some of his great rivals. He hit the Angle Slam and The Ankle Lock as a tribute to Kurt Angle. He hit the GTS as a tribute to CM Punk. He then hit a Spear as a tribute to Adam Copeland. John Cena hit the Pop Up Powerbomb for Kevin Owens. Sami Zayn hit the Helluva Kick but John Cena kicked out. This match was cooking.
Brock Lesnar Destroys Sami Zayn and John Cena
John Cena hit the Top rope Super AA and both men were lying down. Then the Guitar riff hit and out came Brock Lesnar to a thunderous pop. He looked bigger than last time and he gave an F5 to Sami Zayn followed by 2 F5s to John Cena. This was followed by their match being made official for Wrestlepalooza. WWE Wrestlepalooza will be the biggest show of the year. This was the first part of this historic SmackDown.
Aleister Black took out Damian Priest
The feud between Aleister Black and Damian Priest has been going for a long time and on SmackDown Black took out Priest. He gave a black mass which is this beautiful kick to the face. Their match is inevitable and these 2 men deserve a spot at WWE Wrestlepalooza. They should get to show the world that they are the two hardest workers in WWE.
Drew Mcintyre and Randy Orton getting ready for battle
The WWE Champion Cody Rhodes has been out of WWE for a month and he will not return for another month as he is filming the movie Street Fighter. Therefore WWE has had Drew Mcintyre feud against Randy Orton. WWE fans thought that these two men will have a match at Clash in Paris. However it looks like these two men will battle it out at WWE Wrestlepalooza. Cody Rhodes could return before then and make it a triple threat match for the WWE Championship.
AJ Lee Returns to WWE after 10 Years
The main event segment was here and it was Becky Lynch who was in the Ring. She was trashing the city of Chicago and saying that it is a dump. Seth Rollins was standing in a box far away from the Ring. CM Punk had his entrance and the fans were loud for him. He told Becky Lynch again that he has no issues with her but Becky Lynch again insulted him and slapped him. The fans were in anticipation and then CM Punk said that he knows someone that will gladly hit Becky Lynch. Then Light It Up played and everyone lost their collective minds. The 17,000 fans got exactly what they came to see. AJ Lee in the WWE after more than 10 years. It was surreal and she was skipping around the Ring. Becky Lynch was in shock and she was pleading. AJ Lee took out Becky Lynch and then jumped into the arms of her husband CM Punk. The mixed tag team match for WWE Wrestlepalooza is on. AEW All Out did a good thing that they pushed their show by 5 hours. WWE is hotter than ever and the women’s division has got their ace back.
