WWE Night of Champions in Riyadh Saudi Arabia was one of the best WWE PPVs of the year. This show had everything and some shocking winners. The match quality was great and the crowd of over 18,000 was cheering throughout the event.

Oba Femi beat Jey Uso in King of The Ring Final
The first match of the show was the King of The Ring Tournament Final. It was between main event Jey Uso against Oba Femi. Both men had tremendous entrances and this match was 8 minutes long. Jey got a lot of offense as he hit a number of Superkicks and he hit the Uso Splash twice but Oba Femi kicked out at 1. Jey was giving Suicide Dives to Oba Femi and in the end Oba Femi won the match by giving Fall From Grace. Oba will go to SummerSlam and challenge for the World Championship in the main event.
Iyo Sky beat Liv Morgan in Queen of The Ring Tournament Final
The Queen of The Ring Tournament Final was much more competitive and it was a 15 minute Banger. Before the match Danhousen cursed Liv Morgan. Both these women were getting cheered by the fans. Liv was targeting the back of Iyo Sky and Iyo Sky was doing her best moves from the top rope. Liv hit a Codebreaker but got a 2 count. Iyo Sky hit the Asai MoonSault outside the Ring. The match was getting close but Iyo Sky hit the Spanish Fly and then her traditional MoonSault and won the match. She won Queen of The Ring and chose Liv Morgan at SummerSlam.
Seth Rollins beat Bron Breakker in a Steel Cage Match
This was the best match of the show without a doubt. Both men were ready for a fight. Even before the match both men brought kendo sticks, chairs and tables in the ring to use as weapons. The match was 20 minutes and it was one of the best steel Cage matches of all time. Bron was using his power and he was shoving Seth Rollins through the cage. Seth Rollins used all his experience and he hit Bron Breakker with the kendo sticks and chairs. In an insane spot Seth Rollins gave a Superplex to Bron Breakker from the top of the cage through the table. Bron was bleeding out of his eyes. Bron hit 2 Spears but Seth Rollins kicked out both of them. Seth Rollins hit the Stomp and the Pedigree but Bron Breakker kicked out. To end the match Seth hit the Super Stomp and this feud is over.
Trick Williams beat Ricky Saints for United States Championship
It was time for the United States Championship and Trick Williams as always got a huge pop. Ricky Saints also got a good ovation. At the start of the match, Ricky Saints used his smarts as he made sure that Lil Yachty was banished from ringside. This was an 11 minute match. Ricky Saints hit the Absolute DDT but Trick Williams kicked out. Trick Williams won the match with his finisher Trick Shot and now he can focus on his upcoming Feud against Carmelo Hayes.
Tiffany Stratton beat Jade Cargill for Women’s United States Championship
This was the shortest match of the night. This was for the Women’s United States Championship. Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill had a good match which could have gone longer. It was only 8 minutes but several storylines saw progression. Jade wanted to use the title as a weapon but Charlotte Flair stopped her. Michin and B Fab tried to help Jade Cargill win but Chelsea Green once again saved Tiffany Stratton. This sets up SummerSlam very nicely.
Sami Zayn beat Cody Rhodes and Gunther for WWE Championship
The main event of the night was the triple threat match for the WWE Championship. Sami Zayn was the clear crowd favourite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is a proud Muslim and they see him as one of their own. Cody Rhodes also got a big ovation. This was a 19 minute match and this had everything. All three men were great. Cody Rhodes was hitting Cody Cutters on both his opponents. He hit a Cross Rhodes on Sami Zayn who kicked out. Gunther was hitting chops and he hit multiple Powerbombs but to no avail. Sami Zayn was given a back body drop through the table and Gunther Powerbombed Cody Rhodes twice through the table. Sami Zayn hit the Helluva Kick twice on either man but he was denied. In the closing stages, Cody Rhodes hit a double Cross Rhodes on both opponents and was going for another on Sami Zayn who reversed it and pinned Cody Rhodes. Sami Zayn was finally WWE Champion. It was the perfect place to do it in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where 18,000 fans cheered as if they had won.
