Best CM Punk WWE Matches

This is a topic that I have wanted to cover for some time and finally the time has come. We all know the relationship of CM Punk and WWE since 2014 and it’s not been a good one and now since the past year he had wrestled for AEW and has done okay for himself but his peak was when he was in WWE between 2006-2014 and in those years he gave many great Matches and some we will talk about here. CM Punk has a charisma that attracts the viewer towards him and he is a great wrestler.

There are a few matches that stand out in the WWE career of CM Punk and we will talk about them here but just want to highlight the achievements of this man. He was the longest World Champion in WWE at 434 days when he held the WWE championship before it was broken by Brock Lesnar. CM Punk is the only 2 time Money in the bank winner and he did it in consecutive years. CM Punk is a multi time champion in WWE and at WrestleMania 29 he has a great match vs The Undertaker. Let’s see the Top 5 Best CM Punk WWE Matches.

CM Punk vs John Cena (Money in the bank 2011)

This is the single most important and best match in the career of CM Punk no matter where he has worked and the Chicago crowd, John Cena and their incredible wrestling elevated this match. This was a 5 star match and both of them just went at each other and hit each other with their best moves and even Vince McMahon came out and tried to make John win but in the end of was the hometown hero Punk who won the WWE championship and left Chicago and it was a masterpiece in professional wrestling dine right. I think this match is even better now that we watch it. 30 minutes of unbelievable action.

CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar (SummerSlam 2013)

This was a really special match as it is not only one of the best matches of CM Punk but also of Brock Lesnar and no one expected then two to deliver such an instant classic. It was the perfect heel vs face match as the big bully Brock went after the crowd favorite Punk and they told the story so well and the crowd was so into this and they wanted Punk to win but Brock beat him but the stock of CM Punk went up after this match.

CM Punk vs John Cena (Raw 25th February 2013)

This is the second match between John Cena and CM Punk that is on this list and whenever this happens it is proof that 2 wrestlers have unbelievable in ring chemistry with each other and this match was very important to Punk as he wanted the WrestleMania main event spot at WrestleMania 29 in 2013 so this match vs John Cena was his way of getting there and yet again they both put on a classic and the fans were enthralled but Punk lost and then he left WWE a year later finally.

CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan (Over the Limit 2012)

In the 434 day reign of CM Punk he had some great Matches against a wide variety of opponents but his best came against Daniel Bryan at this PPV in 2012. The fans were drooling over this match as it was 2 great wrestlers going at it and they did not disappoint. These Two went almost 30 minutes in the ring and it was looking like Daniel Bryan was about to win but in the end it was Punk who got the win and this match was also 5 stars worthy. Now the fans are hoping they face off again in AEW .

CM Punk vs The Undertaker ( WrestleMania 29)

After being snubbed in the main event of WrestleMania 29, Punk was given The Undertaker as an opponent and he gave it his all in this important match for his career. The story fold was great and when the match started they both started going at each other and it was a fast paced match with a lot of great counters from both of them. One time The Undertaker countered the GTS into the Tombstone but Punk kicked out. It was a great 22 minutes match and in the end Undertaker extended his streak to 21-0 and CM Punk had the best match on WrestleMania 29.
