Afghanistan are ready to impress the world cricket once again, as they are eyeing the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which India and Sri Lanka are set to jointly host between February 7 and March 8, 2026.
Afghanistan finished as the Semi-finalists in the last edition (2024), and the Asian side has a big hope for the 2026 edition.
Afghanistan are in Group D along with South Africa, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, and Canada. Afghanistan will play all their group stage matches in India. If they qualify for the Super Eight stage, they can play all their matches in India by replacing South Africa for Group 1 or in Sri Lanka by replacing Sri Lanka for Group 2.
