Sunderland has surprised everyone in the 2025-26 Premier League so far, and Robin Roefs has been one of the main stars behind their success. Still just 22, the Dutchman could become one of the best goalkeepers in the world if he continues his progress.
Defenders
Jurrien Timber (Arsenal)
Jurrien Timber has been nothing less than a revelation for Arsenal so far this season. Whether it's in attack or defense, he has delivered for Mikel Arteta's side so far this season. The only way is up for him, and injuries might be the only thing that could stop the versatile Dutch defender.
Gabriel Magalhães (Arsenal)
Gabriel has been one of the best defenders in the Premier League for the past few seasons, and he has continued from where he left last campaign. His partnership with William Saliba continues to be a nightmare for EPL strikers, and the Brazilian also possesses a fearsome aerial ability as well.
Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth)
Antoine Semenyo might be the one who has grabbed all the headlines in regards to the stellar beginning to Bournemouth's Premier League season, but it's Marcos Senesi who has been their hero in defense. The Argentine is playing one of the best football of his career at 28, and is bound to play an even bigger role as the season progresses for Bournemouth.
Dan Burn (Newcastle United)
Dan Burn was one of those names many expected to be sold by Newcastle United once they were acquired by the Saudi, and yet he is still at the club as an undisputed starter for Eddie Howe. The giant Englishman plays at left back for the Jordies, which again showcases his versatility. An absolute inspiration he is.
Midfielders
Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth)
Antoine Semenyo is probably the Premier League Player of the Season so far, and if he continues this magical form, then don't be surprised if Bournemouth defies all the odds and ends the season with European qualification. Anything is possible for Bournemouth with Semenyo in their team.
Martín Zubimendi (Arsenal)
Martín Zubimendi has had an excellent start to his Arsenal career so far, and Liverpool fans would've just wished how they could've had both him and Gravenberch in their midfield right now. The Spaniard has excelled in the role for the Gunners so far, and has even shown glimpses of his underrated attacking abilities.
Ryan Gravenberch (Liverpool)
Ryan Gravenberch has taken his entire game to another level under Arne Slot at Liverpool, and the scary thing is that the best is yet to come from him. Undoubtedly the best central midfielder in the Premier League right now. Liverpool better pray he doesn't get any injury or suspension throughout the season.
Jack Grealish (Everton)
Every football fan would love to see a redemption story, and that has exactly what's happening in regards to Jack Grealish at Everton. Grealish is back to being the confident winger that we knew at Aston Villa full of tricks and flair. He keeps getting better with each game at Everton.
Attackers
Erling Haaland (Manchester City)
Erling Haaland is back to his very best at Manchester City, and he is arguably the most in-form striker in world football at the moment. Premier League defenders are bound to have a nightmare facing him in this form, and probably no one is going to stop him.
João Pedro (Chelsea)
The signing of João Pedro by Chelsea from Brighton was so out of the blue, and some fans were even disappointed as they wanted a traditional target man striker for the club. However, Pedro has managed to silence everyone with an unbelievable start to the season for Chelsea. Expect more fireworks from him leading the Chelsea attack.
