As the seeded team, Pakistan will participate in the Super Eight stage for Group 2, where they will face tough challenges against the hosts Sri Lanka, England, and New Zealand. All the Group 2 Super Eight fixtures will be played in Sri Lanka, as Pakistan, without any doubt, will play all their Super Eight games in Sri Lanka. Pakistan are now aiming to dominate the Group 2 of the Super Eight, as the top two teams of the group will ultimately qualify for the Semi-finals of the tournament.
