AEW has been around for 7 years. They have established stars on their own and those wrestlers have made an impact. However currently these are the ones that have not much going for them in AEW. AEW has main event talent like MJF, Kenny Omega, Adam Page, Kyle Fletcher on the Men’s Side. They have Toni Storm, Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Megan Bayne etc on the women’s side. They will be the future.
Let’s look at 5 Wrestlers who should transition from AEW to WWE
Britt Baker
The OG Women star in AEW. She is the woman that made sure that women have a say in AEW. She was the AEW Women’s Champion and was having the best matches of the shows. Britt Baker was one of the biggest stars in AEW. However that all changed in 2024 when she stopped appearing in AEW. She had issues with the management due to her anger and Tony Khan decided that they had other women who could carry the torch. A Move to WWE for Britt Baker would help all parties involved. Britt Baker will finally get to appear on TV again and she will get to showcase her wrestling skills. Britt Baker could immediately strengthen the SmackDown Women’s Division.
Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho has been heavily rumoured to be returning to WWE. However he is still on the AEW roster so this move should happen. AEW do not need Chris Jericho like they did when it all started in 2019. Chris Jericho was the first AEW World Champion. Tony Khan will always have a love and respect for him. However it has become time for Chris Jericho to have one final run in WWE. He has his own band and he has a set career after wrestling. Therefore it can be a 1 year run until retirement. He can face Gunther, Roman Reigns, Oba Femi, Trick Williams etc.
Saraya
Saraya has also been rumoured to be returning to WWE. She was in AEW for a number of years. Saraya has been AEW Women’s Champion and she has said that she wants to return to WWE. She is known as Paige in WWE. Saraya is still one of those women that started the Women’s revolution in 2015. AJ Lee is also in WWE currently and she and Saraya can build a proper feud and they can have a WrestleMania match.
Private Party
The NXT Tag Team Division is one of the worst tag team divisions In professional wrestling. The same division was the best in the world just 3 years ago. Shawn Michaels has sacrificed the tag team division for the singles divisions. A team like Private Party can add so much to NXT. They are one of the OG tag teams in AEW. They are also looking for a fresh start and they could be as over The Street Profits and revitalize the tag team division. They can feud with The Culling, The Vision etc.
