WWE Superstars Who Could Have Their Last WrestleMania Matches at WrestleMania 42

WrestleMania every year has a few WWE superstars and legends that have their last matches on the grandest stage of them all. At WrestleMania 41, John Cena and AJ Styles had their last Matches at WrestleMania. WrestleMania 42 will also be the last WrestleMania Match for a few WWE superstars. This is the biggest WWE show of the year and legends prefer to go out at this event.

Let’s look at the WWE Superstars who could have their last WrestleMania Matches at WrestleMania 42

Brock Lesnar

It is almost certain that Brock Lesnar will have his last WrestleMania Match at WrestleMania 42. He has recently said that he is back in WWE for a short while and WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas will be his swansong. He will be facing Oba Femi and there could have been no better opponent for him. He has had a 25 year wrestling career and he is one of the all time greats. Brock Lesnar will always remain one of the greatest and strongest big men in WWE history. Brock Lesnar has had 13 WrestleMania Matches in his legendary career.

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch is in the prime of her career so surely she must have a few more WrestleMania Matches under her belt. However in WWE Unreal Season 2 she revealed that this current contract will be her final WWE contract as a WWE superstar. She wants to prioritise her family. And if this is her last WrestleMania Match then she gets to do it against one of the greatest of all time in AJ Lee. AJ Lee is a woman that has openly said that she loves Becky Lynch. Becky Lynch also respects AJ Lee a lot and they will look to have a Banger match. It will be for the Intercontinental Championship. She has already main evented WrestleMania 35 and won 2 titles in one night.

Randy Orton

Randy Orton has nothing left to prove in WWE. He has already cemented himself as one of the greatest of all time. He is a 14 time World Champion looking for number 15. However the reality is that Randy Orton also is getting older and there are a number of younger talents that want to take his spot. He will main event WrestleMania 42 against his brother and friend Cody Rhodes. This could be the perfect swansong for Randy Orton. He will consider retiring at the end of 2026 and be a full time father.

Asuka

Asuka has been in WWE for 9 years and she has had some bangers at WrestleMania. Asuka is also in her 40s and she has not been booked properly. She has not won a match at WrestleMania yet which is shocking. She will most likely have a match at WrestleMania against Iyo Sky who is her long time friend. She could not have hoped for a better opponent and this will make her consider whether she should retire from professional wrestling and contribute to WWE as a coach for younger talent. She will be in WWE for life but her role could be different.
