Round 2 - Final
It was the third time the USA won the gold medal in the mixed 4 × 400m relay event at the World Athletics Championships, defending their title. Bronze-medalist Belgium recorded their first medal in this Championships event, while the Netherlands recorded their second silver medal in this Championships event, which is their best record in the Championships.
